Wizard’s Vault: which dailies and weeklies are worth doing

The system that replaced daily achievements and login rewards. What each objective pays, where the Astral Acclaim cap sits, and what a new player should spend it on.

The Wizard’s Vault is what two older systems became: daily achievements and login rewards, merged into one window with a list of objectives and its own currency.

For a new player it is the steadiest income in the game. The numbers below.

Dailies

Each day hands you four random objectives plus a fixed “log in” task.

  • an ordinary objective pays 10 Astral Acclaim
  • logging in pays 5
  • clearing all four opens a chest with another 20 and further rewards

A full day comes to 65 Astral Acclaim, before whatever the chest itself holds.

The objectives are undemanding: kill so many of something, complete an event on a given map, gather resources. Most close on their own while you play.

Weeklies

Eight random objectives, refreshing every Monday at 07:30, the same reset raids use.

  • each completed objective pays 50 Astral Acclaim
  • clearing six of the eight opens a chest worth 450 plus extras

So the weeklies pay more than every daily in that week combined. Short on time? Do these.

You are not meant to do all eight. Six is the target and the rest can be ignored by design. There is usually one awkward entry among them: a raid, a specific meta, a PvP match. Skip those.

Special objectives

These refresh quarterly with the season, plus temporary ones for festivals and events. Most want the latest expansion, so without it they pass by unnoticed.

Astral Acclaim

The Vault’s currency. It buys cosmetics, crafting materials, legendary weapon keys, chests of ascended armour and weapons, and account expansions.

🔴 There is a cap: 1,300 Astral Acclaim. Go past it and new Vault rewards stop being credited. Hoarding for later does not work; you have to spend.

Seasons change quarterly. Cosmetics from a finished season do not disappear. They move to the Legacy Rewards section and cost 20% more.

What a new player should take

Ascended gear chests first. They are the fastest route to ascended without crafting or fractals, and you will want it for fractals and generally.

Materials next. Especially the ones legendaries eat (which ones).

Cosmetics last. They are not going anywhere: old seasons stay available indefinitely, only pricier.

A simple habit

Log in, open the Vault, see what today asks for. Half the objectives close themselves while you do whatever you meant to do. The other half tell you where to go when you have no plan.

This is not a daily you must not miss. A skipped day breaks nothing and there is no streak. The weeklies, though, are worth closing.
